YSL Y EDP, unfortunately, didn’t make the cut for me as a pleasing scent. There is a particular synthetic note about this fragrance that always triggers a headache for me. It was surprising because this is regarded as such a people pleaser that my assumption was to just blind buy it. But for me, personally, this turned out to be a mistake. Everyone has a different sense of smell and you cannot like every frag in the world. As highly regarded as this perfume is in the public eye, I hate to say it that I really don’t like it at all. This also serves as a humble reminder to not blind buy anything. I tried to force myself to like it hoping it would become an acquired smell but it never did. Needless to say, the product is 100% authentic and FridayCharm team delivered it in quick time and great care as always. No complaints there. But from a fragrance perspective, this is a huge thumbs down for me.
